Post Graduate Teacher
A Post Graduate Teacher is a teacher with a Master’s degree in education. These teachers usually teach higher-level classes and are involved in developing the curriculum. In India, they are commonly known as PGTs and are highly qualified professionals in the field of education. Their role is crucial in the development of students and is considered an essential part of the school curriculum.
Trained Graduate Teachers have a complete form. This includes the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) test. However, in some countries, there are different forms. In the United States, this job title is given to teachers with a master’s degree in education.
Post Graduate Teachers are responsible for teaching students in senior secondary schools. The minimum educational qualifications required to become a TGT are a graduation degree with at least 55%, and the candidate must be at least 19 years old. Post Graduate Teachers have a higher degree than PRT teachers. They must have at least a B.Ed degree and two years of professional experience in education. Trained Graduate Teachers can also choose to specialize in a specific area of education. Moreover, they are required to pass an entrance exam.
Preimplantation genetic testing
Preimplantation genetic screening is an early way to identify chromosomal abnormalities in the embryo. It can help identify genetic conditions such as Down Syndrome and chromosomal position abnormalities. It is an excellent way to increase the chances of conceiving a healthy baby. However, it is only appropriate for couples aware of a genetic disorder or with a family history of the condition.
While the clinical utility of preimplantation genetic testing is well established, its optimal use is not yet determined. Although it is still considered a promising screening method for genetic disorders, major medical societies discourage routine use. Therefore, the ASRM does not recommend its routine use as a screening test for infertility.
Although Denmark is among the few countries that offer this genetic screening, it is not yet routinely offered. The tests can only be performed on embryos if there is a higher than 25% risk of developing certain conditions. Because there is no agreed-upon definition of what constitutes a severe disease, it can be hard to interpret the results of preimplantation genetic screening.
