BLU G90 Review

38

BLU is a Miami-based phone maker that makes affordable, attractive phones for everyday use. Their latest phone, the G90 Pro, is their first gaming-focused smartphone.

The G90 Pro has a lot of suitable hardware that will make it easy for any gamer to enjoy the latest titles on Android. It’s also a great price tag and is among the best budget gaming smartphones to hit the market this year.

Features

The G90 has a 6.5-inch Infinity Incell Display, which delivers real-to-life color for gaming, movies, and web surfing. It also has a Li-Po 4000 mAh non-removable battery to power your daily needs.

The camera on the BLU G90 is perfect and can take excellent photos even in low-light conditions. It has a 48MP primary camera with a depth sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro lens.

The BLU G90 is a smartphone with good performance and a reasonable price tag. It has a good display, a good processor, and great software. It is one of the best phones you can get for around $200.

Design

If you’re looking for a sleek, stylish, and modern smartphone, the Blu G90 Pro may be the phone for you. The device features a 6.5-inch display with a teardrop-style notch and multiple cameras on the back.

It’s also an excellent choice for gaming because it packs extra processing power and has an extensive battery capacity. It’s also the first phone from BLU to offer a quad-camera system with 48MP primary camera and 8MP ultrawide lens for bokeh blur.

Performance

When looking for a smartphone that prioritizes gaming performance, it’s hard to look past the Blu G90 Pro. It has a powerful octa-core processor, 64GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM.

It also has a triple camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

In addition, it features a USB-C port, a mono speaker, a second microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s a hefty, well-built device that doesn’t feel cheap.

Camera

The BLU G90 Pro has a 48MP primary camera and an 8MP wide-angle lens. It also comes with a 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor.

Despite the impressive sensor, photos taken with the G90 Pro are not as good as they could be. The camera tends to overexpose colors and make things look dingy.

Thankfully, the G90 Pro has an HDR mode that brings life to your images. However, the setting is located in an overflow menu of the camera app, so it’s not always easy to turn it on.

Battery

One of the big selling points of the G90 Pro is its massive battery. The 5100mAh cell is more significant than the 5000mAh battery in the $800 LG V60, and it’s more than enough to last a full day of gaming without charging.

I got over two days of screen-on time from the battery while using the phone with regular use (4 hours of screen-on per day). It charged up quickly and kept its charge even after multiple charging cycles.
