1. Iron Range Swap Meet and Car Show
This car show offers visitors the perfect opportunity to see rare and classic vehicles that may otherwise be difficult to come across at other car shows. There is a raffle, a vendor’s row, and a swap meet area for buying/selling automotive-related items.

2. Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue “Horsepower” Car Show
The event will include a car show and swap meet, vendors, a basket auction, and food for sale – with proceeds going toward local charities and organizations.
The show will take place at Autumn Ridge Farm of Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue, and admission is free for guests to enjoy hay rides, raffle items, CDHR merch, and much more!
The car show will showcase hundreds of street rods, exotic cars, and classic vehicles nationwide. Additionally, vendors selling auto parts and accessories will offer hard-to-find classic automotive parts, while pre-owned vehicle owners will offer pre-owned vehicles for sale in their car corral.
3. Dragone Classic Motorcars
At this event, there will be a swap meet, cars for sale, food trucks, and much more – including a charity auction for Toys for Tots!

Since 2012, when Dragone Classic Motorcars started holding auctions, they have proven immensely successful, raising over $3 Million for their business and collector car collection. Due to forecasted rain this weekend, it seems wiser to postpone the March Farm Trunk or Treat car show and BBQ scheduled from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday in Bethlehem, CT. However, Hartford County Corvette Club’s event from 9 am to 4 pm at Rentschler Field will still occur as planned.
Other car shows this weekend include the Norwich Technical High School Car Show from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Dragone Classic Motorcars on Connair Road in Orange. Pomperaug High School’s Cars & Coffee event can also be found there at 24 Judd Road, Southbury, CT; Shepaug Valley Car Show can also be located there at 159 South Street, Washington, CT.
5. Bethel Police Department Car Show
Even though getting cars into Bethel may be challenging, that hasn’t stopped car enthusiasts from organizing an annual show – the next one scheduled for Sept 20.
The I-Team has discovered that Chad Essert, who recently was fired or forced out of three of his previous law enforcement jobs due to threats of termination or firings or resignations due to threat of stops, according to records obtained by us, has been appointed chief of the village police department.
He’s had multiple disciplinary issues, such as disobeying orders, intimidating witnesses, and untruthfulness, according to The I-Team’s investigation. Additionally, he was charged with driving under the influence and had his license suspended; besides, he refused to provide information regarding prior criminal history records and is due back in Danbury Superior Court on Sept 28.
6. Platt Tech Annual Car Show
If you’re searching for a classic car or truck, this swap meet is your go-to source. There will be hundreds of vendors selling parts and accessories, as well as an exhibition featuring exotics, muscle cars, and customs.
This event will take place at Platt Tech High School on Maple Avenue in Bristol, Connecticut, and vendor setup will begin at 5:00 AM each morning and continue through to 8:00 AM before spectators are admitted.
