“Ki Ora! Welcome to New Zealand! ” This is often the opinion you will get when you step from the plane into one of our airfields at Christchurch, Hamilton or even Auckland.

New Zealand is definitely an amazing place to live along with a fantastic place to visit. We now have lush, green rolling hillsides surrounding us in many regions but then we also have massive areas and acres of luxurious, green flats with moving rivers all leading to being able to the Pacific Ocean.

There is a lot to do here and no subject what your age, there is something for anyone. Having lived in New Zealand all my life and obtaining travelled around most of the Upper and South Islands, Let me tell you there is no other devote the world I would rather are living.

Not straight into hiking or camping? Like shopping? I have just the area for you! Auckland, our most significant city, has got one of the best spots for shopping ever! There are plenty of factory shops and deals to be had, you will most certainly discover something and being a discount shopper myself, I would recommend looking at “Dressmart” at Onehunga, it really is huge and has some of the best buying to be had! Another fantastic spot to shop is the main street associated with Wellington; catch a cable connection car to get around. Christchurch has some fantastic shopping malls additionally.

*Taupo – is my favourite spot to be during summer as well as winter. Taupo has among the largest lakes in the world that is the crater left behind through one of the biggest volcanic explosions in order to rock this world. The river is renowned for its incredible trout fishing. Also among my favourite things to do is hacia gliding behind a boat within the lake, you get some incredible views! Take it that stage further and do a conjunction skydive over the Taupo district. My Dad did this particular for his 50th birthday celebration last year; he was on a higher for days after that!
*Drive one hour and a half out of Taupo and you will come across some of the best winter sports in the world. Mt Ruapehu (which is still an active volcano! ) is one of the busiest mountains during wintertime; you can ski on sometimes side of the mountain and there are two ski fields.
*Plaid Kidnappers is another great famous place to visit and it is one of several warmest places in Brand-new Zealand. Take the tour until at Cape Kidnappers along with visit the colony of Gannets (birds) that gather right now there. Be warned about the smell however, it’s something you have to expertise!
*Catch the ferry with Wellington across to Picton on the South Island and you will probably find a very different New Zealand. The South Island is simply not so much hustle and bustle, it is far more a relaxed, take-your-time surrounding, a great place to chill out.
*Nelson is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in New Zealand in fact it is not hard to see why. It is a great beachside metropolis and lots of people are retiring in this article or bringing their families to be able to for the lifestyle.
*Head lower to the west coast in the South Island and you will find a town called Kaikoura, where you could take a cruise on a ship to see some of the most amazing dolphins and whales, up close and private.
*Queenstown is probably my favourite community in New Zealand, very low great atmosphere all year round, and will be surrounded by a beautiful lake and some of the best ski fields in New Zealand. Whether browsing during summer or wintertime, you will love the locals in addition to tourists alike, this can be definitely a place to be.
*Invercargill, where one of my friend’s lives, is a small area at the very bottom of the South Island. On an apparent day, you can see Stewart Area in the distance. Drive a half-hour out of Invercargill and you will find Bluff… famous for its Decide to bluff Oysters, this sleepy minor town has “lands end” marked by street signals pointing you in the course you want to head. A great destination for having your picture considered and of course, if you like shell bass, you will want to taste their oysters.
